Things to know & What to Bring:

  • May 1 – October 1 the boat is located in Anacortes, WA
  • Yes, we have a bathroom on board. It is clean, upright and accessible from an outside door for privacy.
  • Boat cruises at 34 knots.
  • There are over 170 islands in the American San Juans, but only 6 are serviced by ferry.
  • The San Juan Islands are part of the United States National Monuments.
  • The San Juan Islands and Saratoga Passage are full of State Parks, National Parks, historical sites and hiking trails.
  • Bring warm clothing regardless of the forecast. The boat is heated, but the temperature can be as much as 20* cooler on the water than it is on land.
  • If you plan on doing any fishing, we recommend waterproof clothing. Even if it is a warm, dry day; you will get water splashed on you while fishing and no one has fun if they are cold and soggy.
  • Food – bring your own food and beverages. Even if you don’t think you will be gone long enough to need lunch, we recommend you bring snacks.
  • There is an ice chest, with ice, onboard.
  • Cameras – The San Juan Islands and Saratoga Passage are full of great things to see and do. Bring your camera so you can have memories to take home with you.
  • Cell phones – Plan on not being able to use your cell phone. Much of the area in the San Juan Islands and Saratoga Passage do not have cell service.
  • We carry a maximum of 10 passengers.
  • The cabin and bathroom are not wheel-chair accessible.
  • Your boat comes complete with a Captain.
  • All of our Captains are licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard.
  • Are Captains are trained naturalists.
  • Captains are full of local knowledge enabling them to take you to all the nooks and crannies of the San Juan Islands.
  • All of our Captains & deckhands are trained in CPR and First Aid.
  • Bottom fishing gear, shell fishing gear and bait are supplied for you.
  • There is 1 fishing license for the boat (2 pots or 1 pole per license). If you would like more than 1 license, you may pick up a license at your local sporting goods store or Ace Hardware in Anacortes.
  • You are welcome to bring Kayaks, Paddle boards, Bicycles, four wheelers, camping gear, etc.
  • The open deck space is 11.5’ X 5’.
  • Beach landings are only available in the United States.
  • You may travel through Canadian waters, but may not land in Canada.
  • You do not have to have a passport to travel though Canadian waters. You only have to have a passport if you go on Canadian soil.
